I must go down to the sea again,
To the lonely sea and the sky.
All I ask is a tall ship
and a star to steer her by. ~ John Masefield ~

I spent the first 56 years of my life in New York - born and raised in Greenwich Village, attended Syracuse University in the 60s, and then raised my kids and made my home in Central New York. It's time to go back now.. to enjoy my kids and grandkids who all live there. My wonderful Father passed away in October '99 and will be missed by all who knew him.
I've been living in the Great State of Texas for 3 years now.. and oh boy - am I gonna miss it!! I moved to the Beautiful (Piney) Woods of East Texas in February of 98. I've loved living here ~ the weather is superb - the folks are terrific - even if they DO talk kinda strange - "Howdy neybah!" - "How ya doin, bubba?" etc, etc.. You can hear some good ol' Suthen Humour and lahrn more about why suthenahs love to eat Grits just by clickin' on the words - thanks to Jerry Clower. And.. Y'all can see a bit of why I like it here by clicking on Texas. I'm heading back to New York in March - but in my heart - I'll always ba a Texan!!
I'll continue to stay busy teaching folks how to use their computers, and doing freelance web design and photography as aSiteJust4You. I also host at Talk City Chat as ReflecTCC in the Senior-Citizens and Senior-Lounge rooms. Come visit us - and I hope you'll become a regular chatter. The remainder of my time is devoted to my family 3 grown kids, two marvelous granddaughters and my new grandson, and to my wonderful friends both in Talk City and in the *real world*. Y'all know who you are, and I'll always cherish these friendships:-)
We all live under the same sky, but we don't all have the same horizons.
